Fingers crossed, the connection here is now fixed as there is a shiny new cable modem attached to the steamputer.
Meanwhile, the Macbook I’ve been promised was due to be delivered today, but the Fed-Ex guy managed to knock so quietly that I didn’t even know he’d been until I found his note ten minutes later when I answered the door for the cable guy. Why is it so many delivery services employ ninjas?
