I’ve been taking anti-histamines for so long I’d pretty much forgotten what life was like without them until today. See I ran out last week but what with the bank holiday and me being a lazy ass I didn’t get the prescription filled yet, so today I got the full force of hay-fever. It has not been fun or pretty.
Despite which, I’m very happy because I’m going to get to work on a small project I’m really excited about. But *shhh* you mustn’t tell anyone yet.

Hope you get things sorted out soon and get more anti-histamines. And hope that the lack of them don’t leave you in too Phegmatic a mood
(Nerd puns are the worst, aren’t they?)
Congrats on the small project that you can’t disclose though. Jobs with confidentiality agreements are always good. You will keep us posted about the general details when you have the green light, right?
This one’s isn’t NDA, I think (actually, I better check that). I just want to make sure everything is confirmed before I blab about it and get anyone’s hopes up.
I hope everything with your hospital procedure goes well…it’ll be interesting to hear your impressions of a hospital stay…
Did the hospital tell you that general anesthesia may cause nausea, too?
Good luck with the ‘secret’ project…looking forward to hearing more about it…
Whatever you do, if you’re ever going in for a endoscopy, don’t listen to the doctor when he suggests going without anesthesia because “you want to see what the inside of your stomach looks like, right?” Yeah, you don’t think of it, but there’s lots of nerves in your gut. When that camera on a flexible stick is poking around in there… *shudders*
I hope your potential small project goes well, as well as your hospital visit. ^^;;
And if they offer you a nerve block, as long as you have someone around to help you with whatever limb will be useless for a few days, TAKE it – it reduces pain immensely!
Ah yes, General Anesthesia!
When they though that I had come out of it I actually was unaware of anything or anybody around me for another 2 hours. My wife said that it was funny beyond words.
Same reaction for both knee replacement surgeries, heh…
For the past few weeks something about the way you’ve been drawing Mari has been gnawing at me, and it finally clicked: It reminds me of Leiji Matsumoto.
i love signing the acknowlegement that says i might die.
as if that will prevent my ghost from coming back to haunt them afterwards.
Can we blab about it now? Huh? Can we?
How about now?
