I was just starting to catch up on my comics reading when I got sidetracked over the weekend by an anime called Simoun, about adolescent girl fighter pilots who are also priestesses who describe their flights as “praying to the sky”, and they are not really girls because you don’t get to choose your gender until you go to The Spring, and one of the prayers. AKA attack formations actually causes you to travel in time.
You would obviously make a much more benevolent ruler of the universe than I. A few years of bracing Re-education Through Labour would do some people a power of good: Reality-show contestants, and home shopping channel presenters, for example. My People’s Magistrates will also Strike Hard against Reactionary Deviants from Correct Empress Akima Thought, such as:
* People who buy more cars than they can park off the street.
* Households with more cars than people (the cars will be cubed while the people watch, or should it be the other way round?).
* Furries.
Doing away with Toddler beauty pageants would top my list.
I would identify Reactionary Deviants by their abuse of English. Re-education Through Labour would do a world of good for people who use “connectivity” when they mean “connection” or “relationship”, or “granularity” when they mean “detail”. The People’s Magistrates would sternly judge those who use “synergy” or “paradigm”, or exceed their permitted quotas for “bottom line” or “at the end of the day.”
Akima – re-educate the Rich and Stupid, with their political lackeys. They are the bigger threat than anyone on reality TV. Oh, hey, yes – furries are very reactionary – send the Daleks against them.

Yes, it took a hell of a long time. Originally I planned it to be even more elaborate, but it would have taken me much longer than I had the time to devote to it. Maybe I’ll do that version as a pinup sometime.
Also, I’m clicking on the TWC button every day to vote, but maybe I’m doing it wrong. It seems like the number keeps getting LARGER. It was in the 70′s and now it’s over 100. :/
Thank you! They reset at the beginning of each month, so hopefully we’ll get higher over the month. When I can squeeze in some time I’ll try and make something pretty to look at as a vote reward.
