This is a little rushed, but wanted to get something done as I’m off to hospital early tomorrow. Shouldn’t be in for more than a couple of days, but I doubt I’ll be fit for drawing for a few days after that.

Hotlinking Blocked

Due to someone deciding to link directly to a bunch of the racier TMI vote incentives I’ve had to disable hotlinking. Unfortunately I had to put referrer (hotlink) blocking in the .htaccess file in the server root directory. Didn’t want to do that since it may cause some RSS readers and proxy users difficulties.

If you have any trouble viewing the site, let me know.

I’m still busy right now, but I’ve taken a week off drawing Octobriana to do a four page comic written by the supernacular Gail Simone for Planet Karen: Second Thoughts.

Still don’t have an official publication date set for the book, but I think I’ll hold off asking until I finish drawing it.

Since I’m still a bit busy, I thought I might try a letter column next time. So if you have a question you’d like to ask, email me at the address on the contact link and maybe I’ll answer it.

Updates may be erratic over the next couple of weeks as I am busy working on the Womanthology project; an anthology graphic novel created entirely by women for Charity. Lots more information here. What’s really exciting for me is that I’m working with comics legend Trina Robbins on a story featuring the irrepressible Octobriana!!

As I was in the midst of working on this I saw an article** about how Marvel Comics are saving everyone the trouble of spoiling their comics by giving them away themselves. Yeah, ‘cos whenever I see a movie trailer that gives away the entire plot of the film I totally want to pay money to see the same thing take two hours.

Also, if you look closely in the first panel you may be able to see some of my tiny dalek army.
